This recipe creates 1 - 9 inch pie crust and is super easy to do.
What You'll Need:
1 1/2 C sifted flour
1/2 C chilled butter (cubed)
1/2 tsp. salt
3 TBSP cold water
Fool-proof Directions:
Mix flour and salt in a bowl and add butter, stirring with a fork until well blended. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time mixing gently after each addition. Once all ingredients have been combined, roll dough into a large ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Place in refrigerator to cool for 1/2 hour.
When it's time to remove the dough, place on floured surface and roll out into a 10-11 inch circle. Press dough into a 9in pie plate and chill until ready to use. Keep remaining dough to use as the top of the pie.
