Are We Sure of My Due Date??

Ok, so Friday I had my 35 week Doctor's Appointment. Bonnie, my teenage sister, and Zach go with me and all is well. On Wednesday night I had been having major pressure and it was obvious that the baby was dropping (if he gets much lower I would have to carry my belly with my hands between my legs).

I didn't think much of it at the time nor was I thinking about it on Friday morning when I went to the doctor's office. What I was thinking was the same thing I've been thinking since my 28 week appointment: A 45 minute drive for a 5 minute appointment, boy will I be glad when I get to 36 weeks so that atleast the time driving justifies the time I'm at the appointment a little more. I figured it would be the normal weigh in, pee in a cup (which I can no longer see to pee in), hear the baby's heartbeat, measure the belly and I'll be on my way! Boy was I wrong!

After they did all the usual stuff I also was told they were going to go ahead and do my Strep B test and check my cervix. Although I told Bonnie that it would be nice to hear I was dialated some, I was just kidding. When the doctor checked my cervix, low and behold I was dialated 1cm already!!! WHAT?? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!! I'm so not ready for this baby to be here yet and Mom's not gonna be here for atleast 2 weeks if not 3. Talk about excited and scared all at the same time! I just couldn't wait to get home to tell Jerry, and I really thought he would freak out on me. I got home and told him and he just asked what the doctor said about it and was calm as could be. He never ceases to amaze me...I love you baby. Now, Mom on the other hand was the one that I should have worried about because when I told her her response was...NO GIRL NOT YET!!! LOL Then it was, how the heck am I gonna get there so soon?? I know I have worried her to death and for that I am sincerely sorry, but truthfully it's out of my control!

I go back on Thursday so we'll see if this little one will be here sooner than we thought! Do I cry or do I jump for joy?? LOL

awwww. I can't wait to see the little one!

I was actually at a 2 for a long time and went in 2 weeks early but they stopped my labor :( I then ended up being a week late, they induced and my son was 9 pounds 1 ounce!

Darn those doctors for stopping my labor. LMAO. I had to give birth to my huge son without an epidural because for some reason it would not work on me for more then an hour.

I wish you the BEST, fastest and easiest labor possible and a very happy and healthy baby! I can't wait to hear your birth story and see pictures.

Oh my...I hope I don't stay this way! LOL Zach was fairly easy and quick...I went to the hospital at 5 and he was born at 7:44.

The doctor told me that if I went into labor now they wouldn't stop it so that's a good thing! However, I would really like to make it to atleast 37 weeks so that I know he will be strong and healthy!

Thanks for the well wishes and I can't wait to see him and share my stories with you all!
